There are many opportunities to experience God through music at Leo United Methodist Church! From the very young to Praise Songs... nothing can enhance a worship service quite like music.

Special Music
Do you play an instrument, sing, or have liturgical dance experience? During the summer months especially, we welcome all people, including children and youth, to share their musical gifts during the worship services. Contact Denise Schwaberow to sign up.

Sanctuary Choir
This group is open to all adults and older youth. This group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 - 8:00 PM in the sanctuary. September through March the Sanctuary Choir sings weekly during the 8:30 AM traditional worship service. Summer Choir sings familuar music approximately one time a month and rehearses on that Sunday morning at 8:00 AM.

Sonbeam & Sonlight Choirs
These are our children's choirs. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 5:45-6:30 PM September through March. The Sonbeam Choir is for ages preschool through kindergarten. The Sonlight Choir is for ages 1st grade through 5th grade. The choirs periodically participate in our Sunday morning worship services.

We offer an informal time for our children to gather and sing together every Sunday morning from 10:45-11:00 AM.

Guitar Ensemble for Children & Adults
This group meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:00 PM September through March. This class of budding musicians grades 4-adult are learning how to play guitar, both acoustic and electric. 

Praise Team
The Praise Team leads the singing at the 11:00 AM contemporary service. They generally have keyboard, drums, electric bass and 6 vocalists.
